Privacy policy

Trend Radar is an analytics tool operated by Netplan LLC. It helps the owner of a Threads account understand the performance of their own account and find public conversations relevant to their topics.

What we collect

When you connect a Threads account, we receive from Meta, with your permission:

• your Threads user ID, username and display name;
• insights about your account (views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, link clicks, follower count and, if available, follower countries);
• your own posts and replies with their metrics;
• if permitted, public posts found by keyword search and public profiles you choose to follow for analysis.

We store an access token issued by Meta, encrypted, only to fetch the data above.

How we use it

Only to show you statistics and trend signals in this dashboard. We do not sell or share the data, do not use it for advertising, and do not publish anything on your behalf.

Retention

Public posts of other accounts are kept for up to 30 days. Results of a manual search or profile lookup are kept for up to 15 minutes, so repeating the same request doesn't query Threads again. Your own account data is kept while the account stays connected.

Deleting your data

You can disconnect an account in the dashboard under Settings → Disconnect and delete data, which deletes all of its data immediately. Removing the app in your Threads settings also triggers deletion. See data deletion.
